Mr. Koltuniak was born in Hamtramck in 1925. He served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Machinist's Mate- Third Class during World War II. He worked as an engineer for Udylite Corporation. He served as an usher with St. Vincent de Paul at St. Sylvester Catholic Church and enjoyed singing, gardening, caring for his yard, spending time in the sunshine and spending as much time as possible with his family. Mr. Koltuniak is survived by his wife Regina. Loving father of Christina (Michael) Garcia, Robert (Donna) Koltuniak, Barbara (Mark) Conley and Diane (Anthony) Micale. Devoted grandfather of Jillian, Erin, Dayle, Nicholas, Christina, Monica and Evan. Dear brother of Gertie Lackowski and brother in law of Robert Nowakowski and Evelyn Felcyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Koltuniak will be held Sunday 5-9 pm and Monday 2-9 pm. In State Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church until time of funeral mass at 10:30 am.
