Zalewski, Michael Leo, age 59, of Clinton Township, died Monday March 31, 2008 at St. John Oakland Hospital after a severe illness. He will suffer no more and may he rest in peace. Michael was born January 15, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late Leo and Virginia Zalewski. A retiree of General Motors, Michael spent his entire working career as a tool & die maker. He enjoyed horse racing, golfing and was an avid sports fan. As a father, husband and brother, Michael was a kind, loving, hardworking man who will be missed dearly by his family. He is survived by his dear wife, Janice Cookie; beloved sons, Michael William and Jason Matthew; sisters, Patricia Pienta and Sharon Cichecki; and grandchildrenTyler Leo, Sarah Arlene and Michael Frank. He is predeceased by his son, Aaron Barrett. Funeral Friday, 10:00 am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). The service will be officiated by Pastor Hal Barringer. Visitation will be Thursday 3-9 pm. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
