Nancy Ellen Jakubowski

Beloved wife of the Honorable Walter Jakubowski, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2011. Loving mother of Renee (Rick) Austin, Doug (Jill) Gostomski, Tracy (Doug) Chartier. Proud grandma of Rachel, the late Jorden, John (Savannah), Ryan, Camden, and Finley. Great-grandma of Joseph John. Dear sister of Raymond (Theresa) Giacobone, Roseanna (Joseph) Tilly, and Margie (Larry) Sacha. Nancy is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eleanor Giacobone.

Nancy worked as a clerk in the 37th district court for 34 years, where she met Walter; they were married in 1983 and joined their life together in Warren. They were animal lovers, always having cats and dogs in their home. They also looked forward to their yearly trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. In her freetime, Nancy was a diligent seamstress and was a part of the sewing club. She channeled her creativity doing crafts as well. She never passed a good shopping trip with her friends and family. Above all, the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, held a special spot in her heart.

Visitation will take place at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 30, 2-8pm. A Funeral Mass will at St. Martin de Porres Church on Thursday, July 31st, at 11am. Gathering at the church begins at 10:30am.
