Nicholas Richard Kalubisky

Nicholas Richard Kalubisky, "Nick," age 55, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home in Warren, Michigan. Nick was born January 20, 1963 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, son of the late Nicholas Kalubisky and the late Barbara (nee: Rogers) Kalubisky.Nick was raised in Warren and attended the Warren Woods Schools. Following his schooling, Nick studied the tool and die trades at Macomb Community College and later worked for Anchor Tool & Die for a number of years. Nick eventually moved on to Center Line Tool where he worked as the shop foreman for the last 18 years of his career.Nick was truly a hardworking family man who cherished his entire family, especially his son, Cody. During his time away from work his focus was on his son...the two spent time fishing together along with Nick acting as Cody's soccer coach.Any time Nick could get away from work he would head north to his cottage in Standish and spent many hours of solitude fishing. He enjoyed the canoeing trips on the Rifle River with his extended group of friends, as well as heading out on his motorcycle for a long ride. Nick will be forever remembered by his loving family and his many friends.Nick was the beloved husband of Collette, and the cherished father of Cody Kalubisky. He was the dear brother of Pam (Lee) Corney, Christine Kalubisky (Mike Friedrich), Robert Kalubisky, Dominic Queentry, and Mark Queentry. Nick was the brother in-law of Sharlene Drew, Kraig (Lisa) Radtke, and Joelle Radtke. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. A fundraiser and life celebration of Nick will be held Friday, October 12th, 2018 at Roger's Roost, 33626 Schoenherr Road, in Sterling Heights, beginning at 7pm.Memorial donations may be made to the Cody Kalubisky Education Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. Please share memories of Nick at his memory book above.
