Phillip was the beloved husband of 61 years to Diana Stefanski, and a devoted father to the late Bryan Stefanski, Brandon (Kelly) Stefanski, Bradley (Allison) Stefanski, and Brentley (Karen) Stefanski. He was a proud grandfather to Bryan, Lyla, Evelyn, Kaylie, Lucas, and Theresa. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Wieczorek, and was preceded in death by his sisters Sophie Gaska and Helen Kovalcik. Phillip leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Phillip found great joy in spending time up north at his cabin in Cross Village, Michigan, and cherished trips to the Thumb of Michigan, where he enjoyed pheasant hunting—often alongside his sons, brother in law Joe and nephews creating lasting memories together. He had a deep love for animals, especially his Brittany Spaniels and cats, which brought him much companionship over the years. A man of many talents and passions, Phillip had a green thumb and took pride in his garden, filling his backyard and deck with vibrant flowers and homegrown vegetables. He also enjoyed woodworking and had a knack for refinishing, staining, and polishing furniture, as well as tinkering on various projects.
He will be remembered as a man with a giant heart who’s favorite thing was spending time with family and friends and always had a warm hug and kiss for everyone.
