

Richard R. Doebler, a long time resident of Roseville, died Tuesday evening in Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center at the age of 71 years. Richard was born in Detroit on December 6, 1938, a son of the late George and Kathryn (Remus) Doebler. He obtained Bachelors of Civil Engineering Degree and worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers where he helped with the development of all major waterways of Michigan. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife Marlene Graham on September 7, 1957 in Detroit where they made their home until moving to Roseville in 1969. Richard was a known tinkerer who would try to fix anything and loved to build things. He loved to travel in his camper especially trips to Texas and the warmth of a good campfire. Richard also liked a good game of euchre and cribbage, hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marlene in April of this year, by his grandson Brian and brother, Roy. He is survived by his loving children, Cheryl (Al) Davis, Laura (Steve) Kohrs and David (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Adam, Anna, Alex and Paul. He is also survived by his brothers, George (Joyce) and Dennis (Sharon) and sister-in-law, Gloria. Visitation will be held at the Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. (corner of Common Rd.), Warren, Friday from 2pm till 9pm with funeral services on Saturday at 11am in the funeral home.
