

Robert Terry Golden, age 65 of Ft. Myers, Florida and formerly of the Detroit metropolitan area, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his home in Florida with his wife by his side. Robert was born September 10, 1944 in Bronx, New York the son of the late Leo Golden and the late Ruth (nee: Glick) Golden. He was raised in Levittown, New York and graduated from Levittown Division Avenue High School and would later attend and graduate from Ferris State University where he was a founding father of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and continued to be active with the fraternity until his last days. After college Bob became the consummate entrepreneur and leader, owning various successful businesses in the Detroit area and Florida until his retirement. During his retirement he was passionate about staying active and guiding his Homeowners Association. Also he was committed to helping those within his community to resolve problems. Mr. Golden was predeceased by his parents Ruth & Leo Golden. Robert is the loving husband of 34 years to Donna (nee: Dutko) Golden. He is the dear brother of Howard (Nancy) Golden. Loving uncle of Erin Golden (Alan Pierce) and Jodi (Evan) Brenner, all of Pembroke Pines, FL. Also the beloved son in-law of Phyllis Dutko. A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Golden will be held Sunday 10 am, until the time of the Funeral Service 11am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common.
