

Roberto Roman, age 87, formerly of Detroit and recently of Warren, Michigan, died February 7, 2015 at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center in Madison Heights, Michigan.Roberto was born February 20, 1927 in Mexico, son of the late Juan Roman and the late Gloria Adelina Salgado Roman. Roberto moved to the United States, with his wife of 49 years, Maria Socorro, to seek employment and begin a new chapter in the life for he and his family. Roberto ultimately landed at the Chrysler Motors Corporation where he worked as a stamping technician for many years until his retirement. When Roberto was not working, his life revolved around his family. Spending time with his wife and four children was paramount in his life, along with making sure his children worked hard at their studies so that their futures were much better than his. Roberto and his wife made sure all of their children attended and graduated from college.Roberto was the beloved husband of Maria Socorro Roman, and is the dear father of Rosa Roman Rangel, Rinely (Brady) Olsen, Ricardo (Yessica) Roman, Roberto Roman Jr., Hector (Mary) Roman, and the late Martha (Armando) Ojeda, and Arlina Roman. He was the loving grandfather of Juan Roberto, Raziel, Coral, Nabor, Estuban, Juan, Jose Luis, Arlene, Raquel, Alex, Emily, Marcus, Judy, Ethan, and Dominic. Visitation for Mr. Roman was held Monday, February 9th, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 mile) in Warren.
