Born in Detroit to the late Louis and Frances Marn, Rosemarie was a longtime parishioner of St. Denis Catholic Church in Lexington. A devoted member of St. Denis, Rosemarie could be found attending church every Sunday most of her life. When she moved farther away from the church, she would drive the distance to attend; when she was no longer able to come to church, her heart was still with the church she knew her entire life. In her free time, Rosemarie could be found sitting by the St. Clair River with a hamburger in hand watching the freighters go by. She had a knack for crocheting just about anything and crocheted hundreds of pot holders and dozens of afghans for loved ones and friends. Rosemarie made sure that all family and friends had their own assorted color of pot holder adorning their kitchen. Rosemarie had a number of victories playing euchre and cards at the Croatian Club in various tournaments, one of her favorite pastimes. She had a love for polka music, attending the Slovenian dances, and especially her family. A beloved mom, grandma, and great-grandma, Rosemarie will be dearly missed.
