Sandi Williams

Born March 15, 1940, to Virginia Hessler and Graham Hazlette, Sandi is survived by her doting husband of 55 years, Gene Williams; as well as her life’s greatest work—her children, the late C. Kevin (Denise) Sedgwick, Karen (Tim) Pieczynski, Christina (Dan) Marsee, Michele (Jimmy) Babbish, Dante (Melisa) Williams & Daniel (Kimmie) Williams.

Preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Hazlette and sister Paticia Fox. She leaves behind brother Graham (Livia) Hazlette, and sisters Kim, Annette, Ruthanne, Kathy, and Debbie.

Sandi was dearly loved by her grandchildren; Erin, Frank, Nicole, Holly, Brendan, Eric, Jenna, Jake, Isabella, Gino, Marco, Santino, Nathaniel, Rosalie, and Sophia. Her joy also came from her many Great-Grandchildren; Christopher, Madison, Reagan, Reese, Connar, Eleni, Stella, Millie & Lucas.

She loved nothing more than being surrounded by the energy and love of her nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as her “adopted” children and grandchildren.

To Sandi, no one was a stranger, and she demonstrated unwavering love & encouragement to all who knew her. The true matriarch of her family, Sandi’s heart knew no boundaries. Her unconditional love and service for her family and others will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

As a strong woman of faith, we know that she is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. We will celebrate her vibrant life with a visitation that will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 12:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home. Please join us in honoring her wishes by dressing in a joyful color.
