Stella Lada

Stella Lada, age 91 of, Sterling Heights, died Tuesday, May 04, 2004 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. She was born December 15, 1912 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Steve Senkowski and the late Frances (nee: Karas) Senkowski. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter P. Lada. Dearest mother of Shirley (Richard) Posk of Sterling Heights, and Richard (Janice) Lada of Warren. Loving grandmother of Susan (David) Nofz, Michael (Lori) Posk, Brian Lada, Samantha Lada, and Pamela Lada. Great grandmother of Brandon, Madison, and Daniel. Dear sister of Jean Rayniak, Al Senkowski, and the late Jack Senkowski. Mrs. Lada was a devoted Member of the Cardinal Mercier K of C Council 2723 LOTA Assembly 0515. Mrs. Lada spent many years in Hamtramck and also attended St. Florian Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting and was devoted to her family. Visitation will be Thursday May 6th, from 5-9 pm and Friday 1-9 at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). LOTA Rosary Friday 2:00 pm and her church will perform a Rosary at 7:00 pm. . Mrs. Lada will lie in state Saturday 9:00 am at St. Blas Catholic Church, until time of Funeral Mass 9:30 am. Officiating the funeral will be Rev. Fr. Randy Phillips. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemtery. Memorial donations appreciated to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
