Stephanie Marie Houck

Stephanie Marie Houck, age 39, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township after battling years of health problems.  Stephanie was born January 28, 1982 in Warren, Michigan. daughter of Steven Houck and Michelle (nee:  Measel) Houck.

Stephanie was raised in Warren, and St. Clair Shores where she graduated from Lake Shore High School, the graduating class of 2000.  Following her schooling Stephanie worked various jobs from serving at Cadence, McDonalds, Wendys, and Taco Bell, until her last employment at Walgreens.

When Stephanie was young, she was the typical little girl who loved swimming. She was always the first person in the pool, and the last one to leave.  She loved the outdoors and cherished the times spent with her family camping at Groveland Oaks Park.  She also had a love and connection in caring for animals.  Over the years she doted on her cat, Snookie, and recently her new dog, Dexter.

Even though Stephanie had no children of her own, she was a wonderful babysitter and loving aunt.  She loved to be surrounded by her family, especially her mother.  Additionally, she and her boyfriend enjoyed visiting friends for a good card game.

Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Steven and Michelle Houck, and the dear sister of Miranda (Mitchell) Wiszowaty, and Chrystal Houck.  She was the loving aunt of Austin, Autumn, Destiny, Jayden, and Arianna.  Stephanie is also survived by her companion Jeremy Smith and many family members and friends.

Visitation for Stephanie will be held at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd), on Saturday from 3-9 pm, with a 7:30 pm Prayer Service.
