

He was born on February 11, 1979, in Lakewood, New Jersey, Steven was the beloved son of Steven C. Lang and the late Darlene Lang. From a young age, Steven showed an incredible passion for cars. At just 18, he began working at an auto body shop where he discovered his true talent—automotive painting.
Steven’s skill and eye for detail quickly set him apart in the industry. His custom paintwork earned national recognition, with several of his cars featured in Hot Rod Magazine and showcased at the prestigious Las Vegas Car Show. He took immense pride in his craft, and his work left a lasting impression on those who saw it.
Known for his creativity, dedication, and love of all automotive things, Steven will be remembered not only for his incredible talent but for the quiet passion he brought to everything he did.
He is survived by his children; Steven Mikla, Alaina Mikla, and Shawn Lang. He was the loving son of Steven C. Lang, and the late Darlene Lang. Brother of Eileen (Fred) Klotzer, Brian Lang, Rachel Sahlberg, and the late Clifford Sahlberg. Uncle of Elaina and Payton. He was also survived by many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who admired his artistry and spirit.
Steven’s life was a testament to pursuing your passion and leaving a mark—sometimes in chrome and color, always with heart.
A private memorial will be held later by the family.
