

Beloved husband of Michelle and dear father of Annika and Francis. Loving son of Nancy and the late Francis Piwko and loving son in law of Michael and Mary Parkinson. Dearest brother of Diane (Gordon), Larry (Bessie), Andy, Kevin (Kathleen), Denise, Dan (Sherri), Glenn (Laura) and Sheri Parrott. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Steve's greatest joy in life was his twin children Annika and Francis. He took great joy in their accomplishments and will be greatly missed as they embark on steps into adulthood. Steve was a faithful and supportive husband through health and sickness, being the binding force during difficult times.
He was a fan of comic books and bonded with his son Francis over a shared love of Marvel and sports. With Annika, Steve had an appreciation of their small moment interactions and her accomplishments and involvement with the community.
A lifelong resident of Clinton Township, Steve graduated from Fraser High School in 1988. He entered skilled trades and became a journeyman with Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 80
He was a proud and loyal union supporter. As a member of Local 80, he held several responsibilities such as CAD designs and project management, a career he did for almost 30 years.
Friends may visit the A.H. Peters Funeral Home 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI on Sunday July 17, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
A Memorial Service with luncheon will be held at Resurrection Cemetery 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 at 10:00 A.M.
