Sue Ellen Lobdell

Sue Ellen Lobdell (nee: Winegarden), age 69 a longtime resident of Clinton Township, died Tuesday, July 01, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born January 06, 1939 in Harbor Springs, Michigan the daughter of the late Elwood Perry Winegarden and the late Helen (nee; Hahn) Winegarden. Mrs. Lobdell was raised in Harbor Springs and Graduated from Harbor Springs High School and went on to graduate from Michigan State University. Mrs. Lobdell would eventually reside with her family in Clinton Township and teach special education at Clintondale Schools for over 32 years. When Sue was not working, her family was her life. When her children were young she was actively involved in all of their activities and events. Also Sue was an avid gardener, decorator, and a person who always loved to work outside beautifying her yard. Later in life she lived for her children, grandchildren and friends, all of whom will sorely miss her. Sue Ellen Lobdell is the dearest mother of Bob (Amy) Lobdell, David (Jackie) Lobdell, Jamie Lobdell, and Julie (Jerry) Pankowski. Also she is the loving grandmother of Lauren, Lindsey, Lesley, Robert, Matthew, Shelby, Sydney, Michael, Lexie, Lanie, and Lyndie. Sue was the beloved sister of David Winegarden. Visitation for Mrs. Lobdell will be Wednesday from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday 11 am at the Funeral Home. Celebrating the Funeral Service will be Rev. Charles Gerringer.
