Sylvia Elizabeth Malecki, age 80 of Warren, died October 3, 2014 at the Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. She was born September 29, 1934 in Trenton, New Jersey, daughter of the late Reverend Robert Laphew and the late Geneva (nee: Cubiac) Laphew.Sylvia was the dearest mother of Rick (Angie) Corbeil and Terry Malecki. Loving grandmother of Paula and Kevin Corbeil. Sister of Robert (Rozanne) Laphew, and aunt of Bob (Kathy) Laphew, David (Denise) Laphew, and Michelle (Steve) Zukowski. Visitation for Sylvia will be held on Tuesday, October 7th from 3-9pm, with a 7pm Funeral Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. Memorial donations are welcomed to the Martha T. Berry Resident's Activities Fund. Please share memories of Sylvia at her memory book.
