Terrell Gene Kennedy, age 89, of Roseville, Michigan, peacefully passed away on June 19th, 2025. Born in Arkansas, Terrell was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.
Terrell shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Alice, whom preceded him in death. Together they are rejoined in eternal rest. He was the proud father of three children: Terry Kennedy, Ken (Kathy) Kennedy, and Michelle (Frank) Maisano. Terrell was a dear grandpa to Teryn, Michael (Amy), Kevin (Meg), Kyle (Ashlee), Kory and Kristofer (Natasha) and a cherished great grandpa to eleven great grandchildren.
An avid sportsman, Terrell excelled in every sport he tried. In his younger days, he came close to playing professional softball, a testament to his natural athleticism. He also loved bowling and was a dedicated member of many bowling leagues. Golf was a lifelong passion; Terrell planned his life around the sport, often timing medical procedures for the winter months to ensure he was ready for spring golf seasons. He even worked at a golf course for a time, enjoying the chance to play after his shifts.
In his later years, Terrell played in a Tuesday golf league with a close-knit group of friends, exploring different courses throughout Michigan. He also loved playing euchre with Alice and their friends, cherishing the simple joy of good company and good times.
At home, Terrell treasured quiet moments with Alice and their family, especially supporting his grandchildren at their sports games. He was always present and encouraging them in everything they did.
