A woman of deep faith, Theresa was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. Her devotion was steadfast—she often attended Mass multiple times a week. Her generosity knew no bounds. Theresa worked for many years as a secretary for the Carpenter’s Union, later continuing her work at Hallmark after retirement. She donated to nearly every cause that reached out to her, always living by the motto: “If I can afford new clothing, then I can afford to donate.”
Theresa had a gift for bringing people together. She loved hosting parties and treasured her many dear friends, some of whom she had known for decades. She was truly a social butterfly, lighting up any room she came in. A wonderful cook, Theresa had a special talent for growing vegetables especially her cabbages that were known for their enormity. She loved making cabbage rolls with her son-in-law Tim, who she always considered a true son. Her garden was filled with colorful flowers and bountiful vegetables, a testament to her nurturing heart.
Theresa and her husband Bob shared a deep love for exploring their home state, especially traveling "up north" in Michigan and camping as a family. In their later years, these adventures brought them great joy and cherished memories. Theresa loved animals and always had a pet companion by her side. Weekends were often spent with family, playing euchre and sharing stories. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers, Theresa rarely missed a game on TV and cheered them on with pride. She was also an avid bowler, participating in many leagues with Bob—not necessarily for the sport, but for the joy of spending time together. As her daughter Kim grew up their bond flourished into a beautiful friendship beyond being bound as family. The two shared countless lunches and conversations, finding joy in each other’s company and in the little things. Theresa’s friendships were deep and lasting. She formed a tight-knit circle of friends through work and social gatherings, always ready to be the first to lend a helping hand.
Beloved wife of the late Bob Driver. Loving mother of Kimberly (Timothy) Janusz. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all those who were lucky enough to know her.
