Thomas Kenneth Jankowski, age 71 of Warren, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Autumn Woods Health Care Facility in Warren. He was born May 22, 1942 in Detroit, son of the late Hillary and the late Elenore (nee: Zawacki) Jankowski.Thomas is survived by his two loving daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Oneill and Deb (Ron) Ciavone; siblings, Larry, Richie (Fran), Mary Grace, and Jimmy. He was a loving grandfather to Justin, Emma, Ryan & Sophia. He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Shirley, in 1994.Thomas worked most of his life in the packaging industry, retiring from Royal Container in Oak Park. He loved to bet on horses, and was also enthralled by the sports of NASCAR and college basketball. A Memorial Service for Thomas will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren.Please share memories of Thomas at his memory book.
