Thomas will always be remembered for his welcoming and giving nature. With a generous heart, he would go out of his way to help anyone in need no matter the personal sacrifice he would endure. Thomas met the love of his life, Eleanor, when they were both in their senior year of high school. Eleanor had been taking singing lessons and when it came time for her recital. Thomas sat in the front row while she sang the Spanish love "Siboney" to him. His father worked for Bell telephone company so he was able to call and talk to her whenever he wanted, which was all the time. Their first date was at a friend of the families farm. He wanted to show her the farm. She found it fun since she had never been to a farm before. After graduation he joined the army reserves. The day he showed up in his perfectly pressed army uniform Eleanor and her mom were very taking by how handsome he looked. As a creative mind he loved to tinker, build, and watch shows like How It Works. He was also a talented painter, painting many beautiful nature scenes.
