Tywaun Jr. was welcomed into this world on December 26th, 2023 at 1:04 am. He was 7lbs, 12oz and 21.21 cm long. As soon as we laid eyes on him we knew he was so special. Almost everyone who saw him said that he seemed like an old man, because of the faces he would make and the way he would fold his hands. It was like he was a man who was sitting there listening to everyone. Some of his favorite things were watching Ms. Rachel, playing with and getting tickled by his mommy and pop pop, and he loved saying “bahh bahh” with his pop pop. Every time he saw his Pop pop come home from work he would start to quickly crawl away because he knew that he was coming to tickle him, he would even jump over me and fall on his face on the bed. Tywaun loved when his pop pop would say “bahh bahh” and tickle his belly with his nose, he would laugh hysterically. He loved eating Ritz crackers, but they had absolutely nothing on his favorite Nature Valley bars! He was breastfed up until 11 months, until I couldn’t supply milk anymore, but even then his pop pop made sure he could get him some donor breast milk until he turned 1. He spent $50 a day so that Baby Tywaun didn’t ever have to drink formula. My son was the most calm and serious, but exciting and silly baby. He brought joy to our everyday lives, there was no way we could have a bad day as long as we had him. He would look for me and his pop pop, going back and forth between us whining so we could grab him. He taught his Pop pop not to fear anything and patience. My son taught me what it means to love unconditionally and strength. Our family has been through a lot together but he was the one that kept us together and kept us going. I miss when he would run over our toes in his walker when we would cook in the kitchen and bath time. When we would walk he would fall asleep in our baby carrier or his stroller and he loved car rides, no matter how upset he was a car ride would calm him down. Tywaun loved when we would pat on his mouth while he would make noise. One day when he was about 8 months, his pop pop was leaving and he said “I love you” to me before he left, we could swear on anything baby Tywaun said it back to him. He loved laying his head on me and his pop pop as he would watch Ms. Rachel and start to fall asleep. We know that he is with us for eternity and we just can’t wait to be with him in heaven.
