Veronica will be remembered as a generous and kindhearted woman whose greatest joy was caring for others. For many years, she lovingly operated a daycare from her home, providing a nurturing environment for the children of family and friends, a true testament to her compassionate spirit.
On August 27, 1983, she married the love of her life, Joseph Malyszka, and together they raised three children: Billie Marie (Ziggy) Szpytek, Joseph Malyszka Jr., and Kellie (BJ McManaman) Malyszka. She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Veronica (Joe), Danielle, Jimmie, Steven, Ryan, and the late Sierra, and a cherished great-grandmother to Payton.
Veronica was a dear sister to William, Wanda (John), Antoine, Cindy (the late Raymond), Cherie, Candy (Steve), Rose Marie (Raul), Ricky (Kim), and Martin, and was preceded in death by her brothers Stanley and Rodney. She leaves behind a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Her life was filled with simple pleasures: a deep love for music, crafting, decorating for the holidays, shopping, and traveling; especially her unforgettable trip to Hawaii with her sister. Veronica's warmth, creativity, and dedication to family touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
