Victoria S. Ellies

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Victoria Ellies, age 93, of Sterling Heights, on March 30th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Roy Ellies, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Victoria took great joy in the simple things in life, especially when surrounded by her family. She was known for her delicious Arabic cooking, and her appreciation for flowers and the beauty of nature, which brought joy to her life.

An avid card player, Victoria was known for her skill in Gin Rummy, and she could always be counted on to beat her grandson, Dylan, with a smile. She loved traveling, and staying in her condo in Florida . Their 50th wedding anniversary trip to Las Vegas, where they were joined by the entire family, remains a treasured memory.

Victoria was the dear mother of Roy Ellies Jr., Gerald (Joyce) Ellies, and Donna Ellies. She was a cherished grandmother to Dylan Ellies and Randy Owens. Victoria also leaves behind her loving sister, Maureen (William) Edwards, and many other beloved family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

A visitation for Victoria will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Michigan Humane (Society) are welcome in her memory.
