

Virginia lived a long, vibrant life filled with creativity, devotion, and deep love for her family and community. Virginia met her husband, Daniel Webb Jr., when they were young, before he was sent off to fight in World War II. Upon his return, they settled in Pittsburgh, PA. Dan began working with the U.S. government TACOM, which led to living in Taiwan for two years and eventually settling in Warren, Michigan, where they raised a beautiful family together.
A woman of many talents, Virginia was an exceptional seamstress who found great joy in sewing for her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Bishop Sewing Guild and the Michigan Sewing Guild and stayed in close contact with many members even after she retired from the groups. She was also an avid and gifted gardener, taking immense pride in her lush, meticulously maintained garden, always keeping a red theme of flowers she loved. Her yard became a point of pride not only for her but for the entire neighborhood, earning her a City of Warren Beautification Award. She retired after 20 years with Binson’s Hospital Supply, where she was a dedicated and valued employee.
Virginia was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, where she generously gave her time baking her famous chocolate chip cookies for countless church events. She was a devout Catholic, even in the times when she wasn’t able to go to church during the pandemic, she always watched diligently from home until she could be with her church family in person once more.
Family was at the center of Virginia's life. Her home was the heart of every holiday celebration, where she lovingly prepared many traditional holiday dishes. Born on New Year’s Eve, she especially cherished celebrating the new year, hosting gatherings filled with food, laughter, and love.
Virginia stayed closely connected to those she loved through heartfelt letters and regular phone calls. She took great pride in her beautiful penmanship and delighted in sharing updates, stories, and photos. Naturally photogenic, she often sent copies of her favorite pictures to family and friends as cherished keepsakes.
She was a woman who carried herself with grace and pride, always looking her best. Weekly trips to the beauty shop were part of her routine, and she enjoyed conversations with her dear friends Maria and Joanne. Virginia maintained her daily ritual of getting ready and looking her best.
The Macomb County Executive recognized Virginia as a Macomb County 100 Club member, celebrating residents 100 years and older. She was also honored at the Warren Community Center Centenarian's Celebration with a Maple tree planted in her name as a tribute to both her remarkable longevity and her meaningful contributions to the community.
Above all, Virginia was a devoted and loving grandmother who never missed an important moment in her grandchildren’s lives. She shared close bonds with her nieces and nephew and treasured time spent with family. In later years, she made trips to visit her daughter, Susan, in New Jersey, often continuing to Pennsylvania to reunite with extended family, turning these visits into meaningful three-week road trips. She also treasured her dear friendships and held each one close to her heart.
Virginia was born to immigrant Italian parents, and though she always understood the spoken language, she spent her later years working to improve her ability to speak it once again. Her family lovingly wondered if she was preparing to be reunited with her parents, whom she loved dearly, and to speak with them fluently once more.
Virginia was a loving daughter of the late Leonardo and Renata (Lorenzi) Michelotti. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Webb Jr. for 44 years. Devoted mom of Karen (Robert) Wesson, Susan (James) McGrath, and the late Janice. Cherished grandmother of Bryan and Kathryn Wesson, Caroline and Julia McGrath, Travis (Alicia) Breton, Court and Chet McDonald. Great-Grandmother to Josh, Kaleb, and Sarah Breton. Caring sister of the late Aldon and Albert Michelotti. Loving sister-in-law to Donna Michelotti and the late Joan Michelotti.
Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, instate 10:30 am until Mass at 11:00 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 East 14 Mile Road, in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
