Walter Frank Schmid, age 57, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home in Warren. Walter was born August 18, 1961 at the old Saratoga Hospital in Detroit, son of the late Albert Julius and the late Mary Jane (nee: Kaiser) Schmid.Walter was the loving father of Crystal (Jesse Smith) Schmid and Jennifer (Timothy Ross II) Schmid. Former spouse of Kimberly Lynn Schmid. Beloved brother of Sandy Godlewski, Albert Schmid, Lorrie (Leonard) Brashaw, and the late Cheryl Schmid. Dear uncle of Allen (Victoria) Brashaw and Jackie Schmid.A Memorial Visitation for Walter will take place on Friday, October 19th from 5 - 9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren..His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 1:30 pm at the Funeral Home .
