

William A. Dodge, 83 of Warren Formerly of Ferndale, Hazel Park, Gladwin, Michigan and LaFeria, TX. Died in his home in Warren on February 9, 2004. He was born in Durand, Michigan on July 5th, 1920. He retired from T.R.W. of Sterling Heights (formerly Thompson products in Hamtramck, MI) after 40 years of Service as a Supervisor. He had also served in the U.S. Army in 1944 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Ferndale, MI. In 1981 he and his wife went to LaFeria, TX and developed a small RV park, which he ran until 1998 in the winter months. In the summer months he worked at the Groveland Oaks RV Park in Holly as a Ranger and was an all around maintenance man from 1984 to 1997. He and his family loved to go camping and they belonged to TTCM and Double Dozen RV Clubs from 1969-2002. His children still go RV traveling and camping to this day and will continue to do so with many happy memories that they will take with them of their father. Mr. Dodge is survived by his wife Geraldine (nee: Sylvester) of 63 years and his children, James (Nancy), John (Janice), Linda (Art) Jankowski, Harry (Sharon), Donna Hooper, William M. (Marie), Susan Dodge and his little dog Buddy. His 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter also survived Mr. Dodge. He was pre-deceased by his father, Milo A. Dodge, mother, Winifred Dodge, sister, Dorothy Day, son in law, Leslie Hooper and his Granddaughter, April Wisneski. Funeral Services will be Thursday February 12th; 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Officiating the funeral will be Rev. Jerry Wienzierl. Visitation will be Wednesday February 11, 2004, from 2-9 PM, with a Masonic Service at 7:30 PM.
