
William Bill E. Gobel age 57 of Warren, died January 22nd at the Georgian of Bloomfield Nursing Center. Mr. Gobel was born June 5, 1948 in Warren Michigan the son of the late Robert and Pauline Gobel. Mr. Gobel was a lifetime resident of Warren, graduating from Lincoln High School, then entering the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Gobel would serve his country for 4 years. After his military service Mr. Gobel returned to Michigan and went to work as a hydraulic pipe fitter. He was employed by Comau-Pico for 6 years, prior to that he worked many years at the Cross Company, which later became Giddings-Lewis. He was a member of Automated Systems Workers Union local 1. When he was not working Bill loved NASCAR, Bowling, and Golf. Bills wife of 31 years defined her husband as a tender and compassionate man who cared deeply for animals and strived to stop any type of animal cruelty. Mr. Gobel is the beloved husband of 31 years to Susan. Dear brother of Robert Gobel of Crossville, TN , Shirley Nemitz of Sterling Heights, and Judy Patrick of Hazel Park.
