

Wojciech Stefan Krzyzanowski age 78, died August 24, 2013 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan.Wojciech was born February 13, 1935 in Poland the son of the late Edmund Krzyzanowski and the late Bronislawa (nee: Piaszczynska) Krzyzanowski. He survived the many tragedies of the Wars in Europe at the time, and was able to survive without the assistance of his family as a young boy and man.Wojciech eventually migrated to the United States with his new young wife and the two would settle in Warren Michigan having a son Roman. The Krzyzanowski family resided in Warren for many years and Wojciech owned and operated his own precision grinding business until his retirement.When Wojciech was not working he enjoyed watching hockey with his father, fishing, bowling, and playing ping-pong. He also loved playing cards especially pinochle and bridge. Wojciech will be remembered as a very hardworking man who loved his family deeply.Wojciech is the beloved husband of Alina, and dear father of Roman Z. (Amy) Krzyzanowski. He is also the brother of Zygmund and the late Teresa Niewadomska.Visitation for Mr. Krzyzanowski will be held on Tuesday from 3-9pm with a Rosary service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. Wojciech will lie in state on Wednesday at 9:00am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Entombment of Mr. Krzyzanowski will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.Memorial Donations appreciated to the Tart Tails, Inc.
