Ambrose W. Carroll Jr.

Carroll, Ambrose W., 75, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. He was the husband of Frances (Foti) Carroll. Born in Providence, RI he was a son of the late Ambrose W. Sr. and Frances (Bartley) Carroll.

Mr. Carroll was a LaSalle Academy and Providence College graduate. He was a proud US Army Veteran. He began his career at Kaiser Aluminum and Pearson Yachts and was the Lead Quality Control Inspector at TPI Inc. for 28 years. He was an avid golfer, volunteered with Bristol Youth Soccer and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basketball. He was the statistician for the Mount Hope Huskies Men’s Varsity Basketball Team for many years.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Michael and his wife Colleen; sister, Frances B. Carroll; and granddaughters, Quinn and Caitlin.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th at 8:30 AM from WILBUR-ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St., Warren with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours Thursday 4 – 8PM.
