Antonio "Tony" T. Guerreiro

Antonio “Tony” T. Guerreiro, age 89 of Seekonk, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Evergreen House Health Center, East Providence. He was the husband of Eleanor M. (Gervais) Guerreiro, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

Born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal, a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Raposa) Guerreiro, he immigrated to the United States in 1951.

Tony was a machinist at Brown and Sharp Company for many years before retiring. An avid gardener, he enjoyed watching country western movies and listening to country and Irish music.

In addition to his wife he is survived by: three daughters, Kathleen H. Guerreiro, Linda M. Ruest and her husband Christian and Sandra T. Harvey and her husband Daniel; two grandchildren, Jacinta Guerreiro and Harper Ruest; one great grandson, Kaden Belliveau and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Fernanda Fitta, Esmaria DeMelo, Gilberto, Daniel and Louis Guerreiro.

His Funeral will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 at 9:00 AM from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Visiting hours Monday from 9:00 to 10:15 AM in the funeral home prior to the funeral mass. Burial in St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Warren.
