I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Our fathers worked as policemen together for many years and I know that my father (Henry Pratte) considered Emilio to be a friend as well. My father often spoke of all the laughs they had together. My sincerest condolences.

A good, and fair, man has passed on. He was a man not afraid to humanize with the kids of  Warren. Emilio would stop a minute and play with the kids practicing sports after school, could he still throw the shot-put or what?. And, if you were in trouble, he'd treat you with the respect of a family member, though you'd give him no bull.. Emilio, you're truly the last of the great Warrenites. May you Rest In Peace Emilio, and thank you for being there always. My condolences go to the Squillante family. Be very proud of Him. He is special.

My dad was deeply saddened to hear of his passing as well-  remembers the Chief fondly from classes at the state crime lab, and always enjoyed viviting and talking with him. I'm sorry that I won't be able to be there to say a final "Goodby" to Uncle Emilio.  He was my favorite uncle.  I don't know if you know this about him, but he was the life of many a gathering at my father's house.  I remember the watch that he gave me when he was my confirmation Godfather, the building of things with erector sets and the games that we would play.  He always gave me good advice and it's so sad that he has passed on.

It seems he wanted to spend Christmas this year in heaven - what a reunion that must have been!  He was always a sweetheart of an uncle to me, and so much fun!  I can picture him in my mind now up there with all our loved ones who've already passed over, just having a grand time!
