Judith Ann Montalvo

Age 55 of Loveland Street, Bristol died Monday December 20, 2010 at her home after a 3 year battle with cancer. She was the wife of Wilfred Montalvo with whom she was married to for 38 years. Born and raised in New York City she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Mc Gregor) Prosser.

Judy worked for Roger Williams University in the dining room services for 10 years. She was an avid fundraiser for Breast Cancer and the Making Strides Walk’s held in Boston and Providence.

She is survived by three daughters Judyann Montalvo, Maria Furtado and her husband Christopher and Melissa Montalvo all of Bristol.

Five brothers William and Thomas Prosser, Thomas, Charles, Paul and Edward Knuth and two sisters Mary and Elsie Knuth.

She also had three grandchildren Alaina Furtado, Antonio Planas, and Wilson Menezes.

Her Funeral will be Thursday at 9 am. From WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main Street, Warren RI. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. in St. Mary of the Bay Church 645 Main Street Warren RI. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Hope Street Bristol RI.
