Kenneth "Kenny" H. Evers

Kenneth H. “Kenny” Evers, age 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Connors) Evers with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Providence, the son of Elwin “Pete” and Elide (Sarzana) Evers, he was raised in Warren and had resided in Bristol since 1970.

A graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1964, and then attending Bristol Community College. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, he served as a Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. A Material Specialist, he worked for Raytheon for many years before his retirement in 2006.

A love for the movies, he also enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and vacationing, often visiting Cape Cod. During summers in Bristol, he looked forward to 4th of July celebrations, especially concerts with his wife Barbara and sunset drives at Colt State Park. He had an enthusiasm for vintage wood boats and loved cars, but mostly spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Teri Pachuto and her husband David of Bristol and Jennifer Rodrigues and her husband Richard of Ohio; one son, Kenneth Evers, Jr. of Bristol; one sister, Janice Jensen of Georgia; five grandchildren, Corey M. Evers, Brittany A. Rodrigues, Jonathan T. Rodrigues, Alexis T. Rodrigues and Dominic D. Pachuto; one great granddaughter, Rosalie A. Cox; three nieces, Sherry Jensen, Karen Driskell and Lisa Smith and two nephews, James Jensen and Michael Jensen.
