Teresa A. Starkey

Teresa A. (Galuppo) Starkey, 81, of Atlantis, Fl., and Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2012, after almost 3 years in Hospice. She was surrounded by all who loved her, family, friends and caregivers. Born in Warren, RI, she was a daughter of the late Gilda Starnino and Camillo Galuppo, and the wife of the late Robert Starkey. She resided most of her life in Warren. Teresa worked over twenty years, for the Bristol County Water Authority as a Customer Service Supervisor. She also worked in the offices of the Warren Gas Company and the Berkshire Curtain factory.

She is survived by her sister Eva (Ricci) Conlan, of Atlantis, Fl., preceded in death by sisters, Mary (Ricci) Sylvia, Louise (Ricci) DiLauro, brothers Anthony Ricci and Alphonse Galuppo, and many loving nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 26th from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Alexander Church, 221 Main St., Warren. Burial to follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Alexander Church.
