On February 4, 2014, AGNES LOUISE MATHISEN of Bethesda, MD. A lady of supreme elegance, a woman ahead of her time who was most proud of her years working on Capitol Hill in the era of JFK, LBJ and more. Survived by a loving nephew, Tyler Mathisen (Joanne); two great-nephews, Ian Tyler and James MacKenzie Chris Mathisen. Preceded in death by her brother, Chris A. Mathisen and his wife, Mary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, corner of Western Ave. & Quesada St., N.W., Washington, DC, Friday, February 7 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
