Anne-Marie Jacqueline Lee

Mrs. Lee was born on August 28th, 1926 in Paris, France. An only child, she was the center of her parents' Parisian world. While studying at the Sorbonne she met fellow student and her future American husband, Owen Baldwin Lee. They were married in Paris and returned to Cambridge, Ma. where he completed his degree at Harvard University. A career followed in the Diplomatic Corps that brought travel and adventure over a lifetime that included raising 3 daughters.

Mrs. Lee was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years in 2002 and daughter F. Anne (Bunny) Lechevallier in 2011. Survivors include 2 daughters, Charlotte May Lee Froehlich (Howard) and Marie-France Catherine Falconer (Richard), 5 grandchildren; Nathalie Michel, Marc Owen Lechevallier, Heloise Parent, Christopher Lee Froehlich, Charlotte Anne Jacobs and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 11:30am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3 Chevy Chase Circle, Chevy Chase, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice or to the American Cancer Society.
