Charles Ronald Dean

On Thursday, December 9th Ron passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home. Ron was born August 4th 1953 in Pasadena, CA to Joan Lawrence and Benjamin Palmer Dean. He studied in California and served in the Navy in a Top Secret capacity at the Naval Operations Command Center on Ford Island. Ron enjoyed a fulfilling career in sound system sales in Connecticut and Virginia; he loved his customers and cherished the lifelong friendships made within his sales organizations. He loved people, singing, dancing (high kicks!), gardening and tending his plants; every year Ron made the most wonderful spaghetti sauce! He adored all genres of music, especially 70's rock - the louder the better! His greatest passion, though, was his family: his loving wife of 35 years Linda, daughters Katherine and Elizabeth, son-in-law Ben, and most recently 8-month old granddaughter Georgia, whom he relished and provided with "only small bites" of chocolate and cookies while caring for her in November! Ron is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers; he leaves behind a sister Penelope, half sister Lillian and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 5th at 11:00 am at Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon,VA. A private inurnment will take place at Quantico National Cemetery.
