Born in San Antonio, Texas, She lived an incredible 102 years of life in the most challenging, changing days of America. Her effervescent smile touched thousands of lives both here and abroad. An artist, master seamstress, master gardener, devoted wife, eloquent writer... and so much more. She always saw the best in life and people she met. Her father and husband were diplomatic officers. As a diplomat's daughter and wife, she embraced her role in representing the country she so loved. She did it with grace, humor and total devotion.
Left to cherish the fond memories and wonderful stories are her brother, three children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be at Rock Creek Cemetery, 6 July at 12:00, where she will be laid to rest with her Mother and Husband.
Memorial donations may be made to the DACOR Bacon House Foundation.
