Died peacefully at home in McLean, VA on December 30, 2013 at age 99. He is survived by his devoted son Edward E. Rawson (Marshall); beloved granddaughters Marion R. Urdaneta (Mario), Beverly R. Acosta (Adonay), Katharine R. Sibbald (Paul) and Jennifer C. Rawson, and adored great grandson James Edward Sibbald. His daughter Rebecca H. Rawson and wife Elsa E. Rawson predeceased him. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 10 at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Funeral services will be held at St John's Episcopal Church, 6715 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA on Saturday, January 11 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH.
