Evelyn Freeze McInerney, beloved family matriarch, passed away peacefully at her home on November 2, 2014. She is survived by her five children, Maurice F. McInerney, Jr. of Bethesda, MD, Carolyn A. McInerney of Falls Church, VA, Martin J. McInerney of Chapel Hill, NC, John J. McInerney of Raleigh NC, Katherine A. Morris of New York, NY and their spouses, 12 grandchildren and their four spouses and fiancée, and five great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in passing by Maurice F. McInerney, her devoted husband of 54 years. Viewing will be held at Joseph Gawler's Sons Funeral Home (www.josephgawlers.com), 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC on November 14, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (www.blessedsacramentdc.org/), 3630 Quesada Street, N.W., Washington, DC on November 15, 2014 at 11 a.m., with interment following at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Road, N.E., Washington, DC.
