Of Silver Spring, MD died peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2013, surrounded by his family. Son of the late Egisto and Elvira Petrone. He was born in Pietrelcina, Italy on April 23, 1928. He was the devoted husband of Anna Petrone for 58 years and the loving father of Elvira (Frank), Phllie (Massimo) and Annamaria (Mansoor). He was the brother of Giuseppina (Pupetta). He was also the proud grandfather of Manuel. Relatives and friends are invited to call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. N.W. (corner of Harrison St.), Washington, DC on Sunday, September 29 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 595 Third St. N.W. Washington, DC on Monday, September 30 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
