My sincere condolences and sympathy to the entire Okutuga’s family for this great loss .
May his sweet soul rest in  perfect peace and God will comfort us all.

He was a secondary school class mate and I haven’t seen him for more than 50yrs since we left school but we did chat regularly on his page before his illness.
He was a very generous and  charming person.
Always ready to get involve ,we shall surely miss him in our meetings.
Thank God for the life he lived and thank God for the family he raised.

Tribute to Godson Abiodun Okutuga

It is with a heavy heart, yet deep gratitude to God, that I pay tribute to my dear friend and brother, Godson Abiodun Okutuga.

We shared a bond that began in our youthful days as classmates in the Class of ’74 at The Apostolic Church Grammar School. Over the years, that bond grew into something far more meaningful—a relationship rooted in friendship, trust, and unwavering support. He was not just a classmate, but a brother and a confidant whose presence brought comfort and strength.

Godson was a man of admirable character—kind, dependable, and sincere. He carried himself with humility and grace, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer wise counsel. His warmth and genuine care for others made him dearly loved by all who knew him.

I will always cherish the memories we shared—the laughter, the conversations, and the moments that defined a lifelong friendship. Though his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, I take solace in the beautiful life he lived and the lasting impact he made on so many hearts.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant all who mourn him the strength to bear this loss.

Tribute to Mr Godson Abiodun Okutuga

Your death came as a shock.The last time we saw was in May 2018 in your home. I had attended a graduation ceremony of a friend’s son and my brother and your sister were visiting you.I passed through your house to see them on my way out of DC.
Before then I have only heard so much about you  from your daughter Elizabeth during her visit to Nigeria which she fell enormously in love with.
It was an un expected exit and it has left an indelible mark in the hearts of your family and those that love you but we rest in the truth of the Bible that says “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.”

On behalf of all the Olowe family I  pray that the Lord continue to comfort your loved ones, grant them peace that passes all understanding In Jesus Name.

Tribute to Godson Abiodun Okutuga

It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my dear friend, brother, and classmate of the Class of ’74, of The Apostolic Church Grammar School, Godson Abiodun Okutuga.

Biodun was a truly remarkable person—caring, warm, and full of life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Though we did not have the opportunity to meet in person after leaving school over 50 years ago, we remained closely connected, constantly checking on each other’s wellbeing. That bond of friendship never faded with time. I will always cherish those conversations and the strength of the connection we shared.

Biodun’s faith was unwavering. Even during his illness, he held firmly to his belief that he would overcome it. Each time we spoke, we prayed together, and his courage and trust in God were deeply inspiring.

His passing came as a rude shock to me, and words cannot fully express the sense of loss I feel. He will be greatly missed—not only by me but by all whose lives he touched.

May God comfort his children and family, surround them with His love, and grant them strength, peace, and healing in this time of sorrow. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
