Grace Carolyn Carter of Montgomery Village, MD died on October 1, 2016. A Native of Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the Late Henry H, and Mary V. Carter. For much of her life, she devoted herself to education both as a teacher and as a school administrator, in Missouri and in Washington, DC Schools. She was also a trustee of Glenwood Cemetery, and served as trustee, treasurer and Sunday school teacher at Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, Washington, DC.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 8 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Glenwood Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Road NE, Washington, DC. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Victoria Home, 9704 Inaugural Way, Montgomery Village, MD 20896.
