Harold Vincent Kelly, M.D., of Kensington, MD, died peacefully at home on March 24, 2026. A high school (St. Augustine, NYC) and collegiate track star (Georgetown), and Navy veteran, Dr. Kelly pursued a career as a psychiatrist after graduating from Georgetown Medical School. Known as the “singing psychiatrist,” Dr Kelly performed in Washington, DC area theatrical productions and was a regular singing the National Anthem at Georgetown basketball and Redskins/Commanders games. A visitation will be held 4 pm to 7 pm March 26 at Joseph Gawler’s funeral home with a funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Bethesda at 1 pm March 27, followed by a reception at Columbia CC at 2:30 pm.
