On November 8, 2013, Ilene Block of Washington, DC passed away. She will forever be remembered as a beloved wife to Jerry Block, mother to Jamie Block, sister to Janet
Rosenbloom, and inspiration to all her family and friends. As a distinguished attorney, she served as Ethics Officer during 24 of her more than 30 years with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Michigan Residential College or the organization of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 12 at 11 a.m. at Anderson House, 2118 Massachusetts Ave. NW.
