On April 29, 2012, Isabelle S. Foster, a resident of Chevy Chase House of Washington DC and formerly a resident of Wilmington, DE and Moorestown, NJ. Beloved daughter of Harry J. Smith and Eleanor D. Smith. Devoted mother to her two daughters, Alexis F. Reed of Braintree, MA and Lucia S. Foster of Washington, DC; and sister to Catherine S. Dott of Chevy Chase, MD. She is survived by her sister, her two daughters, her seven grandchildren, Travis, Lucia, Bridget and Helene Reed, Meagan Saia, John Haltiwanger III and Jacob Wohl; her sons-in-law, Mark L. Reed and John C. Haltiwanger; her many nieces and nephews, and her goddaughter Elliot E. Bernard. She is also survived by her former husband, O. Wells Foster and was pre-deceased by her longtime companion James M. Holden. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m on May 5 at Immanuel-Highlands Episcopal Church, 2400 W. 17th St., Wilmington, DE.
