On Thursday, December 15, 2011, JAMES M. QUIGLEY of Bethesda, MD. Preceded in death on October 21, 2011 by his beloved wife Genevieve M. Quigley. Father of Ann Gaviria, Joan Howard, Claire Quigley, Mary Quigley Hitz (Greg), and Beth Quigley Ferencsik (David); father-in-law of Sandra Quigley; grandfather of Diana Gaviria, Kevin Howard, Marcella Gaviria, Michael Howard, Kelly Spellman, Juanita Gaviria, Sean Quigley, Ryan Quigley, B.J. Quigley, Gregory Hitz, Thomas Hitz, James Ferencsik and Kate Ferencsik. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son James M. Quigley, Jr.; sister Ann Green and brother Thomas Quigley. Relatives and friends are invited to call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave. NW. (corner of Harrison Street), Washington, DC on Sunday, December 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave., Bethesda, MD. on Monday, December 19, at 12 noon. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
