Joseph Lee Donnelly

On Tuesday, April 5, 2016 Joseph Lee Donnelly, son of the late J. Lee and Madaline Donnelly, preceded in death by his wife Geraldine B. Donnelly, formerly of Chevy Chase and Bethesda, Maryland passed peacefully to his eternal rest with his family by his side.

He is survived by his seven children, Geraldine D. Borger (G. Thomas), Joseph L. Donnelly, Jr. (Alice), Joan D. Hirchert (Fritz), John C. Donnelly (Nancy), James D. Donnelly (Mary Beth), Joyce D. Carlock Young (Erik), Janet D. Keller (Don); 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at Joseph Gawler''s Sons Inc., 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada Street, N.W., Washington, DC on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.
