Lois B. Levitan, artist, sculptor, native Washingtonian, beloved mother and grandmother passed on at the young age of 91 peacefully in her Somerset home of 67 years, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her younger brother Arthur Bildman (Faye), her devoted children Lynn, Jim & Richard, her cherished stepdaughter & son-in-law Sheree and Tommy Spriggs, her treasured grandchildren Sara, Kyle & Oliver, cousins, nieces, nephews & dear friends. She was predeceased by her loving sister & brother-in-law Allene & Stanley Baum and her adoring son & daughter in law Alan and Melinda.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. on Tuesday August 8, 2023, at Adas Israel Congregation 2850 Quebec St., NW, Washington, DC 20008. Shiva will be held at the family home directly following internment at Adas Israel Cemetery with services at 7:30 p.m. and on August 9 & August 10 between 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Services at 7:30).
