

On April 23, 2015, Louise Tompkins Parker of McLean, Virginia passed away. Louise was a devoted mother of Samantha Louise Parker; beloved daughter of Louise Parker Ten Eyck; sister of Andrew (Ace) Ten Eyck and Christopher Marston; niece of Andrew Parker, Jr. and Brainard Parker II; many special friends and daughter of Martin Marshall Marston. Louise was known by her close friends and family as “Weezie”. Weezie attended the Holton Arms School in Bethesda Maryland and the University of Virginia, where she graduated with distinction. She developed a love of cooking at an early age and worked at an accredited caterer while at UVA. After graduating, she worked for an accounting firm before returning to her true love, the culinary arts, with a position at Ridgewells catering. A viewing will take place between the hours of 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM Friday, May 1, 2015 at Joseph Gawler’s Sons Funeral Home located at 5130 Wisconsin Avenue NW (corner of Harrison Street) Washington, D.C. A private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Louise Tompkins Parker’s name be made to any of the following foundations: The Lupus Foundation of America, The Epilepsy Foundation or The Scleroderma Foundation of America.
